Universe Timeline

The Star Wars universe timeline is divided into three main eras:

The Old Republic Era:

• Begins with events thousands of years before the original trilogy.
• Dominated by the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order.
• Witnessed conflicts like the Great Sith War and Mandalorian Wars.

The Rise of the Empire Era:

• Marks the decline of the Galactic Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire.
• Features the Clone Wars, where the Republic clones battle the Separatist droid army.
• Concludes with the fall of the Jedi Order and the rise of the Sith.

The Rebellion Era and Beyond:

• Encompasses the original trilogy (Episodes IV-VI), featuring the Rebel Alliance’s struggle against the tyrannical Galactic Empire.
• Followed by the New Republic’s formation and conflicts with remnants of the Empire
• The sequel trilogy (Episodes VII-IX) explores the rise of the First Order and the Resistance’s fight against it.
